A lot of homeowners hire a professional painting contractor to come in and paint the walls after finish our work. Some others prefer to paint the walls themselves. But, neither of these is the best way to approach the job.

The best approach, in fact, is to let us paint. While we make our living as general contractors, our guys have plenty of experience in painting. You can save time, money, and effort by allowing us to handle the task.

Here are a few reasons why you should avoid hiring a separate painting contractor:

We’ll Get Started Right Away

During the remodel, our team is already in the house. So, by hiring us to paint, we’ll be able to start as soon as we finish sanding.

A painting contractor, on the other hand, may not be able to start working until a few days afterward. This creates a break in the schedule and, ultimately, prolongs the length of the project. When customers allow us to paint their homes, we’re able to ensure that the remodel moves forward without interruption.

HomeWorx has All of the Necessary Tools

No need to worry about our painting skills. Our team has been in the industry for years, so we know what we’re doing. We’ve got all of the equipment and know-how to make your house look fantastic.

Plus, we can order the paint for you. It’s a lot easier when you have one bill for all of the materials instead of having to manage separate bills from multiple different contractors.

Cut Down on Painting Contractor Fees

Contractors usually charge by the hour. Oftentimes, this hourly rate is applied to every stage of the remodel process—from planning and material purchasing all the way through the final inspection. So, if you hire and outside painting contractor, you can expect to pay them for the time they spend planning the job.

When you allow us to paint, however, we’ll be able to map out the painting process alongside the rest of our plans. We’ll already have the measurements of your house, so it’ll take far less time for us to plan for painting.

We’re Fully Responsible (The most important reason!)

When multiple contractors are working on the same job, it’s easy for responsibilities to get messed up. For example, when homeowners do the painting themselves or hire a separate contractor it is very easy for job responsibilities to enter a gray area where the parties involve may think certain work is being taken care of by others. If issues do arise on quality of work it becomes questionable on who is responsible. Did the drywallers cause the quality issue or did the painters? It’s easy for finger pointing to begin. When HomeWorx takes a project from start to completion there is only one responsible party, HomeWorx.

The great thing about minimizing the number of contractors involved is that everyone’s responsibilities are clear. Aside from plumbers and electricians (who are required to come in during the rough-in phase), we prefer to handle as much of the work as we can. This ensures that we’re responsible for anything that happens during the process.

A Better Finished Product

Many homeowners they believe they are excellent painters and in some cases that may be true. However, we’ve found everyone is not so great at painting :). In fact, a bad paint job can ruin a remodel. It’s one of the finishing touches to bring the room together and it is not an area to skimp in.

Save Yourself the Trouble

The biggest benefit to letting us paint is that you’re able to stop worrying about it. After all, you won’t have to worry about researching, interviewing, and hiring a painter. So, by allowing us to take care of all paint-related tasks, you’re able to sit back and relax while we transform your home.

All you have to do is choose the perfect color.
